"Autumn Fair 2018" Sunday, November 11, 2018 9:30am- 2:30pm "Autumn Fair" is the annual fundraising event supported by Creations of Hawaii.
Please try "Ceramic painting" on the church grounds during the fair. You can paint on a bisque fired cup, plate or bowl. Reverend Kamiya will fire them and you can pick them up a few weeks later. Good for Holiday gifts! We recommend you come early to do ceramic painting.
Don't miss our annual "Ceramic Sale". Our ceramics are all handmade by Reverend Kamiya who is a professional ceramist. Hawaiian design series such as "Pueo (Hawaiian owl)", "Taro", "Nene (Hawaiian goose)" are popular. Please check our church's mascot bird, Duck design series. Gedatsu Church's original "Happi Coat" is good for Bon Dance!
We are going to sell some Japanese modern woodblock prints made by Tatsuhiko Kamiya (Reverend Kamiya's father). "Seven Lucky Gods (Shichifukujin)" design is popular. Since it is hand printed, each print is different.
We are going to sell handmade jewelry, handmade bag, baked goods (the church members and Rev. Kamiya baked) and cold drink (iced Amacha tea, iced coffee, etc) and shaved ice at the event. We will have some local vendors. Thank you!
