"Autumn Fair 2017" Sunday, November 5, 2017 9:30am- 2:30pm "Autumn Fair" is the annual fundraising event supported by Creations of Hawaii. Don't miss our annual "Ceramic Sale". Our ceramics are all handmade by Reverend Kamiya who is a professional ceramist. Reverend Kamiya's "Kohiki" style (ceramic covered with white slip) , Hawaiian design such as "Nene (Hawaiian goose)", "Karo (Taro)" are popular. Since 2018 is the year of "Dog", we made some "Dog" designs this year. All designs are hand drawn. We are going to sell some Japanese modern woodblock prints made by Tatsuhiko Kamiya (Reverend Kamiya's father).
Please try "Ceramic painting" on the church grounds during the fair. You can paint on a bisque fired cup, plate or bowl. Reverend Kamiya will fire them. You can pick them up a few weeks later. Good for Holiday gifts! We recommend you come early to do ceramic painting. We are going to sell crafts, handmade jewelry, baked goods and iced Amacha teaat the event. We use natural shaved ice syrup (pineapple, grape & orange peach mango) for our mini shaved ice. We will have some local vendors, too.
